-Introduction to outdoor photography-101
How do you take advantage of all those buttons and options that your camera has to offer? How can you make a photograph look interesting and bold? These are things that are not always easy to understand. Learn more about your camera and how to make ordinary subjects extraordinary. Have an instructor introduce composition techniques and demystify some camera functions. Learn how to eliminate distractions, use lines, texture and the Rule of Thirds to create more dynamic images. Begin to see beyond your primary subject so that every feature in the frame improves the image and draws the viewers attention into a vibrant and stimulating photograph. This trip is open to digital and film photographers of all experience levels.
Some of the tour locations are, Mono Lake, Ancient Bristle Cone Pine forest, Bodie Ghost Town, Death Valley National Park & Various Coastal locations such as Big Sur & many more. Prices average from $300 a day to $200.00 for a half day. Particiapants are responsible for their own transportation or it can be purchased for an additional fee.
Groups are limited to a small group of 8 occupants. I do not herd cattle. The bigger the group the more it can create problems with composition for all. For the most part people do not belong in your landscape photographs unless that is one of your intentions.
